Jaroker Family

Unlike the other sections of this website, the private Jaroker site is forward facing.  It is a place for my children to write contemporary, short-moment stories about their birthday parties, school events and performances.

How it All Started

This newspaper article describes my family a few months after we immigrated to America. I found it in my parent’s papers folded among envelopes and address books.  Reading this article opens a time capsule of feelings, those of fear, optimism and happiness.  Everyone in these photos is smiling; I the most.
